With the aim of developing world-class competence for a sustainable future and a good life, the Nature Conservation Administration drives education within upper secondary schools, adapted upper secondary education, adult education, and vocational higher education. The Nature Conservation Schools Axevalla Horse Center, Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and the Biological Vocational College serve as competence centers for the growth and development of the green sector. Together with industry and researchers, the agency drives energy projects and experimental activities at the schools. The Nature Conservation Administration is part of the Västra Götalandsregion.
Nature Conservation School Uddetorp is located on the outskirts of Skara, close to both the city and nature.
At Uddetorp, students can study the Nature Conservation Program with a focus on agriculture, specializing in machine operation, crop production, agricultural animals, and machine service. Here we run our own farm where students develop and learn in a real environment. There are 195 high school students at Uddetorp, most of whom live in the school's dormitory. The school also has a large adult education program with both adult and vocational higher education courses.
As our school expands, we need to grow our team with an instructor, particularly for vocational courses.
The main responsibilities are:
We are looking for someone with a complete secondary education. A B driver's license for manual transmission is required. It is advantageous if you have an educational background in agricultural studies and experience in agriculture. We would also like you to have education and knowledge in tractor driving, loading machinery, and service technology. Experience working with youth aged 16-20 years is also a plus.
You should have a strong interest in the green sector and be dedicated to enabling all students to develop according to their goals. You are flexible, goal-oriented, and take the initiative to collaborate with colleagues. We seek someone who is development- and goal-oriented, meticulous, and enjoys a dynamic environment working with students and colleagues. You are characterized by openness, humility, and a strong desire to cooperate.

Temporary employment until June 17, 2026, with a full-time position (100% employment rate), vacation service, and a start date of January 7 or according to agreement. Selection and interview processes may take place continuously, so apply today, but no later than November 19.
To be employed within the school, a criminal record check is required, which can be applied for via: School or preschool, e-service | Police Authority.
