Mission Statement With the objective of developing world-class competence for a sustainable future and good life, the Nature Management Administration runs education within youth upper secondary school, adapted secondary school, adult education, and vocational higher education. The Nature Schools of Axevalla Hästcentrum, Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and Biological Vocational College function as competence centers for the green industries' growth and development. Together with business and researchers, the administration drives energy projects and cutting-edge experimental activities at the schools. The Nature Management Administration is part of the Västra Götaland Region. Description With us, you get a chance to make a difference and contribute to educational development in the green industry - at an ecological school and farm. Within the Nature Management Administration, youth are educated in animals, gardening, agriculture/forestry, and forest-land-animal programs for adapted secondary school. Currently, approximately 175 students are enrolled in the nature program and 45 students in the adapted secondary school. Around 90 employees work at the facility. Our ecological facility is environmentally certified according to ISO14001. We are now expanding the number of mathematics teachers and are seeking someone who is passionate about student learning and wants to teach at the upper secondary nature program. Good train and bus connections to Töreboda make commuting sustainable. You should have a strong interest in teaching youth in the nature program and want to ensure all students have the opportunity to develop according to their potential and toward higher goals. A connection to the green industry is an additional positive factor that will be useful in teaching. The school has 2.5 full-time mentors who conduct development conversations and serve as the closest contact between home and school. Learning environments and clarifying pedagogy are our benchmark - everyone has the right to their learning. Job Responsibilities - Mathematics teaching in the upper secondary nature program - Other occurring work tasks Qualifications - Teaching certification in mathematics, preferably in another scientific subject - Characterized by openness, lack of prestige, and great willingness for development and collaboration - Access to and expected to use modern digital technology in teaching You are a skilled pedagogue with gymnasium teaching experience, able to meet students individually and in groups, and create a stimulating learning environment. Experience with clarifying pedagogy is meritorious. Requirement for driver's license B with manual transmission. We place great importance on personal suitability.
