**Job Description for Nursing Assistant**
As a nursing assistant working night shifts, you must be able to work independently and have extensive experience in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring that the resident enjoys a good quality of life by meeting individual needs based on the care plans established and the organization's guidelines and objectives.
You will provide daily support to the resident and assist with tasks such as administering medication, helping with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and fostering social interaction. The role of nursing assistant also includes some administrative tasks such as documentation and scheduling.
**Qualifications**
A three-year nursing program, nursing assistant training, or other education deemed equivalent, or work experience in the field. We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a collaborative spirit, with knowledge and experience in the area, a positive attitude, and a strong interest and commitment that you can easily translate into practical actions within the unit.
Personal suitability is of great importance.
**About Karl Nordströmsvägs Elderly Home**
Karl Nordströmsväg is a cozy elderly home located in Varberg, Apelviken, close to nature and the sea. It has 51 resident places distributed across 4 houses. Two houses focus on dementia care, while the other two are for somatic care. Each house has common areas such as kitchens, balconies, and a dining/lounge area where residents socialize, enjoy meals, watch TV, or have a cup of coffee.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Personal suitability will be given significant importance.
