Night Porter - Every Other Weekend Year-Round, with Full-Time Opportunity May–September
We are seeking a service-minded, responsible, and detail-oriented individual for the night porter position.
About the Role
As a night porter, you will work independently during the night, responsible for ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and is in top condition for the next day. The majority of work involves cleaning common areas and restocking supplies, such as beverage coolers and consumables. You will also handle basic reception tasks including check-in and check-out, running the booking system at night, and preparing for breakfast.
The work is performed alone, which means you need to be self-sufficient, confident in decision-making, and able to handle various situations independently – such as potential evacuations or other incidents.
Working Hours and Scope
• Year-round: Every other weekend, Friday and Saturday nights from 23:00–07:00
• May–September: Opportunity for expanded service up to full-time, with night porters working seven nights per week during this season
We Are Looking for Someone Who
• Is organized, loyal, and responsible
• Has excellent service orientation and wants to provide guests with a safe and positive experience
• Is meticulous and ensures tasks are completed
• Enjoys working independently during night shifts
• Communicates well in Swedish and English
Previous experience in hotel, service, or night work is advantageous but not required – we place great importance on personality and sense of responsibility.
Additional Information
We are members of Visita and follow their collective agreement based on HRF standards.
