This will be your new workplace Department 4 is in an exciting development phase, currently with 16 care beds focused on internal medicine, but planned to expand to 24 care beds to meet the need for patients with short hospital stays – AVA (Acute Care Department). This means a high pace, many admissions and discharges, and a broad patient group. For this reason, the work on the department is knowledge-intensive, developing, and exciting. We work in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants, and everyone is involved in patient-centered care – together we create value for our patients. When you start working at Department 4, you will be offered work in new, fresh, and adapted facilities. Patients are cared for in single rooms with private bathroom and shower. Each team is stationed at its own team station with an accompanying round room. We also work with patient assessment in a daytime module for those who do not need to stay overnight in the ward. About you We are looking for someone who likes working with patient-centered care, is motivated by improvement work, and wants to create and develop our department and our working methods. You should be good at collaborating with others and want to be part of our fantastic team where we drive the operation forward together. Qualifications You should be a licensed nurse, and previous experience from a medical ward is highly meritorious. It is important to us that you are driven by a desire to help develop care/the unit with the patient at the center, as well as actively sharing your knowledge with colleagues and equally curiously taking part in colleagues' expertise. We offer you Our introduction program spans 4-5 weeks with frequent check-ins with the unit manager. Your introduction will be adapted to your experience and any needs that arise. We have regular shorter lectures in the Medicine operation. About the position Night shift 34.25 hours/week provides full-time salary plus double on-call compensation between 10 PM-6 AM.
