We are currently seeking an assistant who enjoys being awake at night and sleeping during the day!
The position is 96%.
The client has autism, a moderate intellectual disability, and epilepsy. This means you will be his rock, his safe harbor, and the one who helps him live life to the fullest. Your tasks are broad and varied:
Assisting with everything from personal care, enjoyable morning routines, to keeping the home tidy.
He is a young man with various interests but also appreciates calm and quiet time in front of the iPad.
Are you our next assistant? We are looking for someone who:
• Is a calm, responsible, and pedagogical star. You have patience and the ability to create a safe and structured daily life.
• Is non-smoker.
• Has a driver's license and a personal vehicle. The client’s home is located a short distance outside of Visby.
Significant advantages if you have experience in:
• Low-affect responses.
• Autism and intellectual disabilities.
• Epilepsy.
• Previous experience in care and support, preferably personal assistance.
The most important thing? Your chemistry!
A good personal chemistry is the foundation for a fantastic collaboration and an enjoyable daily life.
Start date with introduction as soon as possible.
Shifts are scheduled from 21:00 to 08:00.
