About this role

National Business Development Manager, Örebro Biobank Örebro Biobank (ÖBB) is a joint infrastructure between Region Örebro County and Örebro University. We are located in X-building (Campus USÖ) at Örebro University Hospital. The unit handles matters related to the biobank law and sample collections for healthcare and research needs. The unit is engaged in regional and national biobanking collaboration and represents one of seven nodes within Biobank Sweden. Biobank Sweden is a national biobanking infrastructure in collaboration with healthcare, universities, industry, and patient organizations. The purpose is to strengthen conditions for medical research and contribute to good diagnostics and patient treatment. Work within Biobank Sweden occurs in various areas related to biobank legislation, operational sample management, and IT development. To reinforce resources within Biobank Sweden, we are now seeking a business development manager for national assignments. The position is based at Örebro Biobank, but the role involves contact and collaboration with national colleagues and organizations across regions, primarily through digital meetings. Job Responsibilities National-level assignments will vary over time, potentially involving multiple parallel projects with the goal of achieving a more harmonized approach nationwide. Work includes: *Investigating various issues *Needs assessment and gathering supporting documentation *Identifying proposed actions *Compiling decision-making materials for Biobank Sweden's management group *Responsibility for structured documentation *Convening ongoing business development work The work is supported by the Biobank Sweden preparation group and management group chairperson, conducted in collaboration with various working groups and competencies, but requires high independence in driving the work. The position also involves some local work at Örebro Biobank related to national harmonization efforts. Qualifications We seek candidates with: *Academic degree at minimum bachelor's level in medicine/biomedicine *Previous experience in project management, coordination, and/or business development *Understanding of IT-related work *Knowledge of or experience with agile methodologies *Strong personal qualities, particularly: - Communication skills - Ability to work independently - Clear and structured documentation skills - Strong collaborative abilities *Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written) Application Submit CV and personal letter.
