Nanofabrication Engineer, Quantum Devices

We are now looking for a Nanofabrication Engineer to join our expanding team and play a key role in the development of cutting-edge superconducting quantum devices.
**About the Role:**
As a Nanofabrication Engineer, you will work hands-on in the cleanroom, contributing to the development and optimization of advanced nanofabrication processes for superconducting quantum devices. You will collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality results for R&D and commercial projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and execute nanofabrication processes in a cleanroom environment
- Operate advanced lithography, deposition, and etching tools
- Develop, characterize, and optimize process flows for novel devices
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in both research and commercial settings
- Document and report process outcomes with a strong focus on reproducibility and quality
- Communicate with clients
**What We’re Looking For:**
- A PhD in physics, nanotechnology, materials science, or a related field
- Proven hands-on experience with nanofabrication in cleanroom environments, ideally with experience in design and fabrication of superconducting qubit devices.
- Deep understanding of process development, micro- and nanostructure characterization
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently
