Nanny / House Manager / Family Assistant (Private Household)
We are currently seeking a Nanny / House Manager / Family Assistant for a warm and active family based in Stockholm. The family is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive individual for a full-time position as a housekeeper and family assistant. The role involves helping the family maintain order in the household's daily routines and family logistics. The family has two children aged 11 and 15.
Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for general tidiness and cleaning in the home (especially the kitchen and children's rooms)
• Daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization
• Grocery shopping, errands, package deliveries, and pickups
• Occasionally assist with simple cooking or meal preparations (family meals, children's lunches, etc.)
• Dog walking and general pet care
• Assist with packing and preparations for family trips
• Help receive guests and set the table for meals
• Drive children to and from school or activities (a valid driver's license is required)
• Coordinate with contractors, deliveries, and household bookings
• Keep track of household supplies (cleaning products, staples, etc.)
Working Hours
• Typically 4–6 hours per day, starting around 12:00 PM
• Some flexibility is required depending on the family's schedule, travel, and weekends
Location
• Primary residence in Stockholm
• Occasionally workdays at the family's summer house in the Stockholm archipelago (transport will be arranged)
Vacation and Time Off
• According to Swedish law regarding vacation and benefits
• We kindly ask that longer absences are not taken in July, as this is one of the family's busiest months — we appreciate at least 50% availability during this period
Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
• Reliable and naturally organized
• Warm and friendly with a positive attitude
• Independent and accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluent in English or Swedish (both are advantageous)
• Holds a valid driver's license

We work with professional childcare throughout Stockholm and assist families with everything from preschool pickups to in-home care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
