The position belongs to the Business and Destination Unit, which works to create good conditions for entrepreneurship, sustainable growth, and attractiveness in the municipality. We are a dedicated team with close collaboration, an open climate, and a focus on development.
As a Business and Event Coordinator/Destination Developer, you will plan, coordinate, and implement activities, events, and initiatives that strengthen Höör's brand as a place to live, work, and visit. You will be a central contact person for businesses, associations, and partners – both locally and regionally – and represent the municipality in networks such as Visit MittSkåne, Visit Skåne, and Region Skåne.
You will be responsible for events like Christmas in Höör, network meetings, business visits, and newsletters. The role also includes responsibility for tourist information and InfoPoints, organizing and inviting tourism network meetings, and marketing materials like "Welcome to Höör – All Year Round".
Höör is located in the center of Skåne, has good train connections, beautiful nature, 17,000 inhabitants, and steady population growth. With around 1,400 employees, Höör Municipality is the largest employer.

WORK TASKS
We are seeking someone who wants to help develop Höör's business community, strengthen the place brand, and contribute to an attractive and welcoming Höör through events for residents, businesses, and visitors.
As a Business and Event Coordinator, you will work both strategically but primarily practically and administratively to plan, coordinate, and implement initiatives that strengthen Höör's business community, tourism, and local events. You will have a key role in creating meeting places, collaboration, and activities that make a difference from idea to implementation and follow-up.

Examples of work tasks:
• Plan and implement events, business, and network meetings.
• Coordinate tourism initiatives, press trips, and collaborations with Visit Skåne.
• Manage tourist information and InfoPoints, contracts, and follow-up.
• Participate in regional and local projects and networks.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, associations, and other actors.
You will report to the Business Development Manager and collaborate closely with the municipality's other functions within business development, communication, culture, sustainability, and urban planning.
The work involves quite a lot of evening and weekend work, often in connection with vacation periods and holidays. We are therefore seeking someone who understands this and enjoys a role where the pace can vary throughout the year and where your contribution truly makes a difference when Höör is in focus.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with experience in business development, tourism, or event work, preferably within municipal operations. You have a good understanding of business conditions and the ability to create collaboration between public and private actors.
You are structured, proactive, and enjoy switching between strategic and practical work. You have good computer skills (Office package) and preferably experience with Paloma, Bisnis Analys, or similar tools. Competence in digital communication or AI is meritorious.
The work also involves evening and weekend work during events. A B driver's license is required.

• Very good administrative ability to prepare materials, compile information, follow up activities, and report results in a clear and structured manner.
• Experience working with routines, templates, and follow-up that support quality and efficiency.
• High service sensitivity and professional approach towards businesses, associations, colleagues, and visitors.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with various actors inside and outside the municipality.
• Experience planning, structuring, and implementing events or similar activities from idea to follow-up.
• Flexibility and understanding that the work involves many evenings, weekends, and efforts during vacation periods or holidays.
