About this role

**Job Responsibilities** One of our committee secretaries is retiring, and we are now looking for someone who wants to help continue developing our work methods. You will be part of a team of committee secretaries, where you will have primary responsibility for an individual committee. The tasks include the usual duties of a committee secretary, such as providing advice during case preparation, reviewing decision-making documents, sending out invitations and agendas, compiling documents, and taking minutes during meetings. Your role will involve planning and ensuring that cases are brought to the committee, as well as being responsible for quality and legal security in the preparation and decision-making processes and during meetings. You will quality-check documents before each meeting and provide feedback to case handlers and managers, write minutes, and dispatch certain decisions, as well as handle other administrative tasks related to the committee. As a committee secretary, you are expected to contribute to the development and improvement of case management within the administration through ongoing work on simplifications, efficiencies, and increased quality. You will monitor administrative committee issues and participate in networks for committee secretaries, as well as conduct training and informational initiatives. The work involves both routine and more complex tasks with a demand for high quality. You will be part of the secretariat team within the administration's Department of Staff and Communication. You will report directly to the department head. The department consists of specialist functions that support the administration in matters related to committee work, archives, law, investigations, communication, IT, real estate, and more. We warmly welcome your application! **Qualifications** We are looking for someone with an academic degree in political science, public administration, social work, or another higher education that the employer considers equivalent. You have a strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have good knowledge and experience of municipal, administrative, and social services legislation, as well as a solid understanding and experience of working in a politically governed organization. We require experience in public authority work related to individual and family care. You communicate information and ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, ensuring that your message is conveyed effectively. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target audience, and situation. You collaborate well with others by listening, showing interest, and demonstrating respect. You understand the common mission and work to achieve the best possible outcomes. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your own tasks and those of the group. In your work, you prioritize the needs of those we serve. You strive to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the results. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information. You are meticulous, focused, and attentive to detail, ensuring that the work is done correctly.
