About this role

Job Responsibilities We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a committee secretary in Sweden's largest support services administration! We need someone who wants to help develop our working methods to create shared, modern, and purposeful processes that strengthen our democratic mission. Warm welcome to us! You will be one of two committee secretaries, responsible for committees and councils, while your colleague manages the board. Job duties include typical committee secretary tasks such as advising on case preparation, reviewing decision documents, sending out invitations and agendas, compiling documents, and taking minutes during meetings. Your assignment includes planning and monitoring that cases are brought to the committee/council, and ensuring quality and legal certainty in the preparation and decision-making process and during meetings. You will quality review documents before each meeting and provide feedback to case handlers and managers, write minutes, dispatch decisions, and manage other administrative tasks related to the committee/council. As a committee secretary, you are expected to help develop and improve case management in the administration through continuous work on simplifications, efficiency improvements, and increased quality. You will closely collaborate with case management development leaders, social law attorneys, and administrative lawyers. You will monitor committee administrative issues, participate in committee secretary networks, and lead training and information initiatives. The work involves both routine and more complex tasks and requires a high pace with demands for high quality. The position is located in the Communication and Staff unit, where we have gathered expertise in committee management, legal affairs, registry, archives, information security, data protection, and communication. Qualifications We are seeking someone with an academic degree in political science, public administration, or another higher education that the employer considers equivalent. You have an excellent ability to express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have good knowledge of municipal law, administrative law, and the laws and regulations governing authorities' work with public documents. We prefer candidates with at least one year of professional experience as a committee secretary or equivalent, and a good understanding of working in a politically governed organization. You have good computer skills, and experience with Ciceron DoÄ is a plus. You communicate information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. You ensure your message is understood. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation. You work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect. You understand the shared mission and work to make it as good as possible. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. In your work, you focus on those we serve and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the results. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information. You are meticulous, work focused, and care about details.
