Your workday. Sweden's tomorrow. We are now looking for a staff member in governance for security-related issues within the unit for internal security. You will primarily work on matters related to the government's governance of the Security Police, including monitoring and analyzing the agency's operations and areas for development, participating in the preparation of budget proposals and government assignments, as well as drafting the agency's governing documents regarding objectives and financial frameworks. Other tasks may arise. The position involves extensive collaboration with other parts of the Government Offices and with representatives of the Security Police. Together with professional and knowledgeable colleagues, you will assist the government and carry out significant work that contributes to Sweden's development. You will work at a fast pace with a focus on problem-solving and results. Read more about our operations at www.regeringen.se Your background You have an academic degree or other comparable education and have relevant experience from working in the Government Offices or at a strategic level in another government agency. You also have experience in conducting complex oral and written presentations, as well as a good understanding of Swedish public administration. Experience working with the Security Police is an advantage. Experience at the Police Authority or at any of the agencies within defense intelligence is also advantageous. Furthermore, experience as an agency or budget officer in the Government Offices is meritorious. Good knowledge of the Security Police's operations and a solid understanding of the government's and the Government Offices' role in governing agencies are also advantageous. You have strong skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Your qualities The criteria for employees in the Government Offices are wholeness, development, and results. The position is classified in a security category, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
