Your new job We are currently seeking a music teacher for Torpaskolan. In your role as a teacher with us, you will work towards the goal that all students feel secure, meet academic standards, develop as individuals, and recognize that the school provides a sense of coherence. Welcome to us Torpaskolan is located in the southern part of Jönköping. We are a three-parallel school from preschool to grade 6 with approximately 500 students. The school is organized into working teams where teachers of various professions collaborate with students throughout the school day. Each working team includes an after-school program located within the school's premises. Currently, close to 75 employees work near the students at Torpaskolan. The school's strength lies in its competent and engaged teachers who focus on knowledge, learning, and safety, as well as place great importance on values. You are a clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a warm classroom environment where you can engage students in their learning. You have good collaborative skills, strong communication abilities, proficient IT skills, and are well-versed in educational documentation. Personal suitability will be given considerable emphasis. - Responsible for the educational content of the teaching. - Independently and collaboratively plan, conduct, and follow up on lessons within the team. - Assess students' knowledge levels and document their development. - Ensure that education is conducted in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. - Collaborate with working teams or colleagues to improve teaching. - Develop students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence. - Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. - Contribute to a pleasant working environment at the school that promotes learning and development throughout the students' school day.
