In Torsby Parish*, music holds an important place. We see it as a significant part of being a church where people come to faith and also have the opportunity to grow in their faith. Every year, many people sing in our choirs, and several musical services coexist with concerts in the churches. During the summer, many well-attended music programs are organized on Marstrand Island.
We are a coastal parish with the four congregations of Marstrand, Torsby, Harestad, and Lycke. Here, we work towards a church that is open to people and the local community, and we have several collaborations with the municipality. Our work with children, confirmation students, and youth is thriving. A central meeting place for all ages is our garden and playground, Noah's Park, next to Torsby Church. There, the rainbow flag flies with the message of the equal value of all people and that God never abandons His creation.
*Torsby Parish will change its name to Marstrand-Torsby Parish on January 1, 2026.
