Motor Enthusiast Test Engineer

What you will do As a testing engineer, you will ensure that the oil systems meet the required standards. You will: - Test components and systems – pressure, flow, filtration, temperature. - Conduct tests both in trucks and on rigs. - Oversee the entire process: book cell times, equip engines with components and sensors, monitor tests, and document results. - Write reports (in English) and collaborate with designers, project leaders, and calibration teams. - Work closely with suppliers and participate in cross-functional projects. - This is a hands-on job where you will be on-site in Södertälje (with some remote work when writing reports). You will receive a thorough introduction and have a senior mentor to guide you. We believe you are A person who enjoys discussing technology and driving projects forward. You are communicative, social, and comfortable presenting your ideas. When something goes wrong, you see it as a challenge – you find solutions and collaborate with designers to get the job done. In short: you are a doer who likes to make things happen. You need to have - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - An interest in engines and vehicles. - Good proficiency in English. - A valid driver's license (willingness to obtain a C license is a plus). For this role, a background check will be conducted prior to employment. In some cases, Swedish citizenship may be required, or alternatively, citizenship within the EU. Extra plus if you have - Experience in testing (thesis work or other). - Proficiency in the Swedish language. - Knowledge of Matlab and Excel.
