BAE Systems Bofors is currently seeking to reinforce its assembly department with multiple new employees. The work will be conducted during daytime hours.
Job Responsibilities
- The position involves group assembly and/or final assembly of our systems and subsystems, which includes handling the assembly of mechanics, hydraulics, and electronic components.
- Support during final inspection and servicing prior to delivery is also a natural part of the role.
- The work entails internal contacts and collaboration with the support functions within production as well as with the designers in the development department.
Qualifications
- The role requires strong skills in reading technical drawings and the ability to understand complex instructions. Previous documented experience in mechanics or hydraulics is desirable.
- We are primarily looking for candidates with experience in mechanical work in some capacity, such as automotive mechanic, technician, assembler, or similar roles.
- Experience with LEAN methodologies is preferred, and it is important that you are practically oriented, have good collaborative skills, and possess a technical interest. Proficiency in Swedish is a requirement, and knowledge of English, our corporate language, is appreciated. You should also have good general skills in software and the Office suite.
