What Does the Role Offer?
As an experienced assembler/train technician, you will have a varied and practical daily work in a workshop environment where quality, safety, and collaboration are central. The work encompasses both mechanical and electrical tasks in an exciting technical setting.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Repair, maintenance, and renovation of trains and train carriages
- Assembly and disassembly of components both internally and externally
- Replacement and repair of mechanical parts
- Participation in renovations and technical upgrades
- Troubleshooting and simple electrical installations
- Interpretation of drawings and work instructions
- Ensuring work is performed according to applicable safety and quality requirements
Who Are You?
You have experience with industrial assembly or other practical workshop work and thrive in a technically oriented environment. Your background could be as a mechanic, electro-mechanic, service technician, or in trades such as electrical installation, HVAC, or carpentry. Experience in the train or vehicle industry is meritorious, as is work with heavy vehicles, industrial equipment, or similar technical maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school or post-secondary education in vehicle technology, electricity, mechanics, automation, or equivalent
- Good technical understanding
- Good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
- Driver's license B and access to personal vehicle
You are meticulous, practically oriented, and have a natural sense of quality and safety. Collaboration with colleagues energizes you, but you also take responsibility for your own tasks and ensure work is properly completed. Strong technical understanding and problem-solving ability make you confident in the role.
