As a native language teacher, you will be responsible for providing native language instruction in primary and secondary schools in the student's mother tongue. Your work is independent, but you will be part of a team and will collaborate with educators throughout Vellinge Municipality. Therefore, strong collaborative skills are essential.
Native language instruction is conducted according to the syllabus in the subject of native language across all school forms. In your role as a native language teacher, you will assess students and assign grades. Your work falls within the framework of statutory and municipal governing documents. Study guidance may be included in the position. The position comprises 10%.
We are seeking someone who has Pashto as their mother tongue and experience teaching in primary and secondary schools. A teaching certificate is an advantage. You also possess very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
You can work towards established goals and have a strong understanding of the governing documents in education, both national and municipal. With the help of pedagogical documentation, you make visible and reflect on your approach and learning processes.
You have good digital competence and use digital tools both in teaching and in communication with colleagues and guardians. You have a holistic view and enjoy working in an environment that demands accountability, flexibility, proactivity, a high level of service, and social skills. As a person, you are a positive team player who always focuses on the student and their development. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You may work at several different schools in the municipality, which means you will need access to a car.
