Job Responsibilities
Omniglot is now seeking a Native Hungarian Language Teacher for a 4% position starting immediately.
As a native language teacher, you will teach children and youth in your mother tongue at various primary schools throughout Stockholm County, which requires flexibility. Travel compensation will not be provided. This assignment is for a school north of Stockholm. Teaching occurs outside regular school hours, typically in the afternoon between 1:00-5:00 PM, occasionally between 8:00-9:00 AM.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting native language lessons;
- Managing student attendance and absences;
- Email communication with guardians;
- Grading and providing assessments;
- Reporting work hours and maintaining close contact with Omniglot's central unit;
- Participating in professional development with other teaching colleagues.

We are seeking candidates who:
- Live in the Stockholm area;
- Have Hungarian as their native language;
- Speak and write Swedish or English fluently;
- Are proficient with computers;
- Are attentive to student needs and interests;
- Are flexible and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and school staff. Teaching experience is advantageous.
