Together, we ensure an entire community functions smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES As a mother tongue teacher, you'll be part of a team with other mother tongue teachers in the municipality. You'll teach students in grades 1-9 and at Mark's high school. Teaching will take place at various schools, depending on where the current students are located. Study guidance, both individually and in groups, is often part of the assignment. Teaching groups may consist of students of different ages and with varying prior knowledge. The position also includes extensive parent contact and administrative tasks such as attendance reporting and lesson planning in the school portal Vklass. QUALIFICATIONS As a mother tongue teacher, you should have good Swedish communication skills (both oral and written), be fluent in your mother tongue (oral and written), and have a driver's license. While being a licensed teacher is advantageous, those awaiting certification or those with alternative qualifications are also welcome to apply. You are a role model for children and youth, valuing trusting relationships and holding high expectations for students as a basis for successful learning. A well-developed pedagogical ability is crucial in this role. You have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and different learning conditions. It's important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization. You are creative, independent, flexible, stress-resistant, and adept at establishing contact and collaborating with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Knowledge of the mother tongue curriculum, pedagogical planning, assessment, and grading is meritorious. You should also have a good understanding of the curriculum's fundamental values and knowledge perspective. Good computer skills and digital competence are required. Teaching certification is advantageous.
