About Us
Linguista is an operation within AcadeMedia that offers various language services both remotely and on-site. The services provided include native language instruction, study guidance, and modern languages.
We primarily work with primary and secondary schools, occasionally within adult education, based on the diverse needs of students.
Linguista operates in two locations, Stockholm and Gothenburg, where we offer some of our services on-site (mostly in Stockholm) at the schools we collaborate with, but we also provide remote instruction to other locations in Sweden. Qualifications
We view language instruction as a very important part of students' development and goal achievement. A qualitative language development approach is therefore highly prioritized. We expect you to have a holistic view of students' learning and be eager to develop your profession with us. A teaching degree with qualifications in the relevant language is a requirement.
Job Responsibilities
The work involves native language instruction in Norwegian at the primary school level, conducted via remote teaching. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of instruction in accordance with the curriculum. As an educator, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and support their knowledge development.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- The relevant teaching language as their native language.
- A teaching degree or an equivalent academic qualification with a pedagogical focus
- Experience as a teacher and experience working with remote instruction, along with very good computer skills (G Suite or similar digital environments)
- A formative approach. Interest in pedagogical development and varied pedagogical skills.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
