About this role
What We Offer
You now have the opportunity to work as a mother tongue teacher with remote teaching.
This means you can work from anywhere in Sweden.
Teaching takes place via Microsoft Teams on Friday afternoons. Part of Friday morning is used for conferences where all mother tongue teachers participate. Teaching is conducted in mixed-grade student groups who remain at their home schools. During lessons, students receive help and support from remote supervisors with whom you will closely collaborate.
You will be part of a work group consisting of approximately 25 mother tongue teachers.
Your work tasks involve planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction according to curriculum and subject syllabus for mother tongue education. You will follow up, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. This also includes attendance reporting, student absence management, and parent contact. You may also be tasked with assessing whether a student meets the national requirements for participating in mother tongue instruction. Additional tasks include participating in conferences and professional development with other mother tongue teachers.
Hässleholm Municipality aims to create the best conditions for a sustainable work life, ensuring your well-being and job satisfaction. An important part of this is offering good benefits to our employees, such as wellness allowances.
