About the role
The position is located within the Family Law Unit, which is part of the Receiving, Support, and Prevention operations. The unit includes family law secretaries, family counseling, a family center, and a mobile parent advisor.
The unit's mobile parent advisor is in a startup phase, and an additional position is being added to the unit, giving you the opportunity to help shape structures, working methods, and content.
As a mobile parent advisor, you will provide early, accessible, and coordinated support to families with young children. Through conversations, collaboration, and educational initiatives, the role aims to strengthen parental capabilities, prevent problems, and promote children's rights to safety, development, and participation.
You will work closely with child healthcare services (BVC) in early support efforts, following the Child Safety model. Through dialogue and observation, children in need of support can be identified at an early stage. In collaboration with BVC, there may be a need to refer the child further within the Backa barnet initiative.
Hässleholm Municipality is a Backa barnet municipality. Within the Backa barnet model, you will participate in child teams where representatives from preschools, social services, and other professions collaborate. You will contribute your expertise in discussions, documentation, and coordination of support measures. The goal is to create a holistic view where children's needs are recognized early, and interventions are implemented before problems become acute.
Your mission will be:
- To strengthen parents' confidence in their own abilities.
- To contribute to the early detection of needs among children and families.
- To reduce the number of cases requiring interventions at a higher level.
- To create a cohesive support structure between families, preschools, BVC, and social services.
This is a permanent position with a start date as soon as possible.
What we offer you!
Your workplace will be based at the Social Services Department, close to the city center and the central station with good commuting options. Since the role involves various locations within the municipality, the municipal car pool will be available for your use.
Hässleholm Municipality aims to create the best conditions for a sustainable work life, so that you can thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. An important part of this is to offer good benefits to our employees, such as wellness grants and the option to exchange vacation day supplements for days off. You will have flexible working hours, allowing you to sleep in or leave early to manage your work-life balance, as well as the possibility to work from home when it suits the operations.
