Your Responsibilities As part of our team, you will work at one of our LSS residential facilities in Doverstorp and provide crucial support in individuals' daily lives. We communicate using sign language or adapt our communication based on individual needs. You will work closely with individuals to support their daily activities, including personal care, meals, hygiene routines, movement training, medication management, and social activities. With a pedagogical approach, you will help them achieve their goals and create meaningful engagement. You will be an important part of a dedicated team working together to ensure each individual has a meaningful and active daily life. About You We are seeking candidates with a completed high school diploma in healthcare, childcare, or equivalent. Experience working in similar settings, particularly with individuals with disabilities or in psychiatric care, is advantageous. If you have training as a support educator, we warmly welcome your application for a support educator position. We also offer opportunities to work as a temporary hourly employee for those seeking flexible work hours or additional work. Knowledge of sign language is considered meritorious but not required. We offer internal training to strengthen your competence in this area. You should have good computer skills and be proficient in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. The ability to communicate in English is also important for the role. As a person, you are positive, outgoing, and adept at building good relationships. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working with others while also taking initiative and finding solutions in daily work. You are confident working independently and have the ability to take responsibility. We seek experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-affective approaches. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, with immediate start date as per agreement. Work hours follow a schedule including day, evening, and weekend shifts, and potential on-call duties. We apply individual salary setting.
