We are now seeking experienced and dedicated staff for our LSS operations in Enköping. Mo Gård offers services to individuals with combined disabilities with a focus on communication, which means that we communicate using sign language or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. About the Role You will be part of a team working to ensure that each individual has meaningful employment and daily life. Your task is to support the individual in daily life based on his or her needs with a pedagogical approach. You may assist with: - Personal care - Daily tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping - Support in everyday life - The individual's social activities, such as day trips or events You will participate in daily activities where you and the individual/participant work together on the scheduled tasks for the day. Your contributions enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination. About You - Completed upper secondary education, preferably in health and care, child and leisure, or equivalent. - Several years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or experience in psychiatric care. - Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-arousal approaches. - Stable, solution-focused, and able to easily build new relationships. - Computer literacy, as documentation is an important task, and the ability to read and communicate in Swedish to access the information necessary for the work. Knowledge of sign language is considered an asset but is not a requirement. We offer internal training to enhance your skills in this area. About Us Our operations in Enköping, part of the Uppland region, consist of five LSS residences and a daily activity center, characterized by open dialogue and collaboration with all necessary functions readily available. Our unit managers work within the operations they lead and typically divide their time between two units. (mogard.se) Employment We offer permanent employment at 75-100 percent with a monthly salary according to agreement and based on individual salary setting. We apply a probationary period, and the start date will be agreed upon. A B driver's license is required. As part of our recruitment process, we use two psychological tests. Your working hours will follow a pre-established schedule, which includes days, evenings, weekends, and possibly on-call duties. To be considered for a position with us, a criminal record extract is required. Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship check. You will need to present a passport, national ID card, or personal identification certificate. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to Chapter 6, §13a of the Aliens Ordinance.
