As a consultant at Mpya Sci & Tech, you will have the opportunity to work on assignments for our clients in the defense industry – a sector that combines high technical complexity with a strong societal mission. You will be part of exciting development projects where advanced software solutions are developed for systems with high technical standards, long life cycles, and high reliability requirements. In the role of Systems Engineer, you will work broadly in system development – from hardware-near functionality to user-friendly interfaces. You will contribute throughout the development chain: from requirement specification and system design to coding, testing, and maintenance. The work is done in agile teams with close collaboration among colleagues across multiple locations. The technical environment is modern and diverse, with languages such as C++, Python, and systems like Linux, as well as tools like Git, Jenkins, Qt, Jira, and Doors NG. Examples of Tasks: • Requirement analysis and system design for advanced planning and control systems • Implementation of software in C++ or Python for both embedded and GUI components • Development of interfaces between operator systems and hardware • Testing and verification of software components in a lab environment, including hardware testing • Customization of solutions depending on product, customer, and environment where the system will be integrated • Creation and review of technical documentation • Active participation in daily scrums, sprint planning, and reviews • Contributing to improvement work within test automation and CI/CD flows As a consultant with us, you will experience variation in assignments, but also long-term stability and security through your employment at Mpya Sci & Tech. You are motivated by solving technical challenges and have a genuine interest in software development. Background • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering Physics/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics/Automation/Equivalent • 3–10 years of work experience as an Embedded Developer or similar role • Knowledge in embedded development and Linux, C, C++ • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Swedish citizenship Meritorious • Knowledge of Python • Knowledge in Algorithm Development, Machine Learning & AI • Background in Testing and Test Automation • Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Qt, and Jenkins • B driver's license Application For questions about the position, please contact Talent Advisor Patrik Artman at 0733-908035.
