Your manager also has personnel and budget responsibility for the seven people working as environmental inspectors in the Environmental Protection Unit, and there is an exchange of knowledge and experience between the units. Our Offer We offer you a stimulating workplace where you become part of a team with committed and knowledgeable colleagues. Each person takes great responsibility for their own tasks while everyone helps and supports each other. You will have the opportunity to participate in networks and working groups with other municipalities and within the organization. We offer flexible working hours, the possibility of remote work when the work allows, and wellness allowance. What Does the Environmental Strategist Role Involve? Together with the other environmental strategist, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing the city's strategic environmental and climate work. The city has conducted mapping to work strategically with climate adaptation measures, and you will be driving the continued work on this. Mass management, mobility, and energy are other important issues you will work with. The position involves many contact surfaces, and you will be a crucial support for the city's departments in their work to achieve set environmental and climate goals. You will also contribute to increasing knowledge among businesses and private individuals to collectively drive the environmental strategic work forward. You will participate in working groups and reference groups in various types of projects and work with external and internal communication. You set and keep timeframes, are structured, and can plan your work independently within your areas of responsibility. You appreciate working with diverse issues and understand that new assignments arise continuously. As you will be in contact with politicians, officials, businesses, and citizens, you must be service-oriented, communicative, and have a good ability to collaborate with others.
