Job Description As an inspector at the Environmental Administration, you will work individually while also closely collaborating with your colleagues. The assignments are varied in nature and difficulty, offering a mix of work in the field with businesses and at the office or other locations. The inspector role involves maintaining good contact with the municipality's residents, business owners, and other authorities. In your work, you will prevent health issues through supervision based on the Environmental Code and the Radiation Protection Act. You will handle incoming cases, such as complaints about noise or indoor environments, and conduct inspections of health protection activities, such as sports facilities and care homes. Additionally, you may work with other inspection areas and assignments within the health protection department. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a scientific degree or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. We expect you to have experience working as an environmental and health protection inspector and good knowledge of the Environmental Code. The job requires a valid driver's license (B). You also need to have strong proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills. Basic knowledge of building technology and health risks in indoor environments, particularly related to ventilation and moisture, is considered an asset. As a person, you are calm and composed in various situations and can focus on the right issues. You can make decisions and act based on your own assessments, drawing on your expertise and consulting with colleagues, even if others have different opinions. Furthermore, you take responsibility and drive your work forward to achieve results. The job suits you if you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances.
