The position includes supervision during the development of contaminated areas and land, and to some extent, self-initiated supervision; waste materials for construction purposes are a significant part of the role. Supervision of other environmentally hazardous activities may also occur. Examples of tasks include: • Reviewing investigations, risk assessments, and documentation, processing, and making decisions in supervisory matters. • Working to initiate inventory and investigation according to MIFO. • Updating the County Administrative Board's database, EBH support. • Planning and conducting site visits. • Preparing decision-making materials and presenting them to the committee when necessary. • Documenting in our case management system, Castor. You will assess and decide independently on your cases. The work is carried out in close collaboration with your colleagues, and together you support each other in arising issues. In your work, you will interact with private individuals, entrepreneurs, other departments within the municipality, and the County Administrative Board. QUALIFICATIONS We require you to have a university degree in a relevant field. We prefer that you already have experience in public authority work. A good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, is a prerequisite for the role. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position. You can structure, plan, and drive your own work and enjoy switching between short and long-term projects. Your work is characterized by dialogue and attentiveness. You succeed in addressing questions and conveying information, instructions, and decisions clearly. You recognize the importance of collaboration and will therefore be an asset to our collegial learning. We warmly welcome your application!
