**About the Job**
Region Blekinge is entering an exciting development phase where our hospital areas are being modernized and developed to meet future healthcare needs. Several new constructions and renovations are planned, which impose high demands on us as a developer, particularly related to the environment and sustainability.
As an environmental engineer with us, you will play a central role in driving and developing sustainable construction within the region. You will work both strategically and operationally with environmental and sustainability issues in our construction projects, from planning to implementation. You will also support other operations within Region Service in their work on environmental and sustainability matters, ensure compliance with legal requirements and goals, and contribute to real environmental benefits.
Your responsibilities will also include managing and developing our environmental management system, handling strategic and operational environmental issues within Region Service's areas of operation, and monitoring the external environment while participating in regional and national networks.
