As an Environmental Administrator in Sotenäs Municipality, you will be part of a team working with supervision and assessment according to the Environmental Code.

The Environmental Unit is part of the Community Development Administration in Sotenäs Municipality. As an administrator, you will work for our three collaborative municipalities: Sotenäs, Munkedal, and Lysekil, with offices in the three municipal houses.
Work Tasks
Depending on your competence and experience, work tasks may vary. We are seeking expertise in supervising environmentally hazardous activities, contaminated land, and individual sewage systems. In collaboration with colleagues, you will work with supervision and assessment within the Environmental Code's area.
As an environmental administrator, it is important that you can work systematically and proactively. Your communication skills are crucial both in writing and speech, as you will interact with both private individuals and business operators. In Sotenäs Municipality, we value participation and openness, which means your work will be characterized by collaboration.
Qualifications
We are seeking an environmental administrator with at least three years of higher education focused on environmental and health protection, or other equivalent education. The ideal candidate is proactive and has strong verbal and written communication skills. Your ability to adapt to different conditions is crucial for making well-grounded decisions and assessments. The work is varied, and it is important to maintain focus and switch between different tasks. Your ability to take initiative will be a significant asset in our team, where we strive to improve and develop supervision methodologies.
