Environmental Worker for Öjersö Recycling Center

We are now seeking environmental workers for the Öjersjö recycling center who want to contribute to a more sustainable future. The position involves physical and varied work in an outdoor environment, where customer interaction and responsibility are central parts of the workday. Working hours are scheduled and may include both weekdays and weekends. As an environmental worker at the Öjersjö recycling center, you will be involved in: • Receiving and inspecting incoming waste • Providing information, guidance, and service to our visitors • Sorting, reloading, and handling various waste fractions • Organizing containers • Cleaning, snow removal, and maintenance of the facility's areas • Operating machinery, such as wheel loaders • Basic administration tasks such as data entry for company cards We focus on the customer and always strive to create a safe and informative experience for all visitors. You will meet many different people and provide advice and guidance on how to sort and manage waste in the best way – for the environment and society. We are looking for someone who: • Holds a valid B driver's license • Is practical, self-motivated, and responsible • Has good teamwork skills and enjoys working in a team • Is service-oriented and enjoys meeting people • Has strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written • Has a genuine interest in the environment and wants to make a difference in everyday life Preferred qualifications: • Certification for operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers • Previous experience in recycling, waste management, service, or retail • ADR 1.3 training (hazardous goods) We offer: With us, you will have a varied and developing job in an important future industry.
