Environmental Worker for Hazardous Waste Wanted at Ragn-Sells in Borlänge!

With experienced experts in hazardous waste and safety advisors, Ragn-Sells assists its clients daily with everything from labeling, sorting, and classifying hazardous waste to providing advice on safe transport. The operations include the collection, reception, inspection, sorting, and interim storage of hazardous waste, as well as a treatment facility for oil, oil-contaminated sludge, and oil-contaminated water. The collection of hazardous waste is conducted via freight transport. The waste is weighed, inspected, labeled, and documented before being placed in the designated area of the interim storage for further transport to an approved treatment facility. As an environmental worker, you will be involved in: - Analyzing incoming material flows, flows after processing, and conducting analyses based on sampling results, - Communicating with clients if materials deviate from what has been agreed upon, - Analyzing materials and flows to see if improvements can be made to the incoming material, - Developing analysis and sampling methods, - Production alongside other employees, which may include maintenance of machines such as minor repairs, - Cleaning of packaging, - Moving materials between storage locations and loading and unloading transports to and from the facility. Location: Borlänge Period: Immediate. You will start your career at Ragn-Sells as a consultant and be employed by us at StudentConsulting. The assignment is long-term with the ambition of eventually being directly employed by Ragn-Sells. Working hours: 07:00–16:00 Monday to Friday WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Requirements: - B driver's license - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the language is used in daily operations Meritorious: - C/CE license - ADR certification - Forklift license - Experience with hazardous goods We are looking for someone who is social, open, and curious, as you prefer to ask once too many rather than once too few.
