**About the Job**
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Gotland, with Region Gotland as our client and partner. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for a dedicated and positive environmental worker with a C driver's license and YKB (professional driver qualification).
As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are the face of Verdis and become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Gotland clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the sanitation assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You will be based at our depot in Visby and report to the local management.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Collection and transport of waste using a rear-loading garbage truck
- Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
- Reporting of deviations
- Daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment
**Who Are You?**
We are looking for someone who has a C driver's license and YKB and who is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
The following experiences and skills are considered advantageous:
- Experience in operating heavy vehicles
- Knowledge of heavy vehicles
- Experience in any type of waste collection
- Local knowledge (all of Gotland)

**Additional Information**
Start: February 2026.
Employment type and extent: Permanent, full-time (probationary period applies).
Working hours: Our operations run Monday to Friday with working hours starting at 06:00.
