**About the Job**
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Gotland, with Region Gotland as our client and partner. We are now seeking a dedicated and positive environmental worker for the summer season of 2026.
In this role, you will be involved in the collection and transport of latrine containers – an important task to keep Gotland clean and functional. You will be our face to the public, interacting with residents and visitors in a service-oriented role. The work is varied, physical, and independent, while you also have the support of your colleagues and our local management.
You will be based at our depot in Visby and report to the on-site management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collection and exchange of latrine containers according to the driving schedule
- Safe and hygienic handling and transport of latrine waste
- Reporting deviations and documentation in our systems
- Daily inspection of vehicles
- Customer contact as needed
**Who Are You?**
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a valid B driver's license
- Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in transport, service professions, or waste collection
- Good local knowledge of Gotland
- Familiarity with practical, physical, and outdoor work
