Job Description
Our client is seeking a Migration Lead for their project. NextGenERP is a transformation program where you will work on the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.
The Migration Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating data migration work in connection with the implementation of a new SAP ERP system for BU Heat Sweden. You will also collaborate with the overall SAP S/4HANA program. You will work closely with the project manager, change manager, and test lead to coordinate communication and activities. Work tasks include:
• Plan and coordinate migration activities with internal contacts and external parties.
• Drive workshops and anchor migration decisions with the business and key stakeholders.
• Ensure work streams are migrated according to the overall program plan.
• Responsible for data mapping between old and new system structures.
• Responsible for data quality work and coordinate master data issues with the business.
• Define entry/exit criteria for migration phases.
• Document migration decisions, deviations, and report status to project management and steering committee.
• Lead testing and quality assurance of migration data before go-live.
• Support change management and training efforts related to migration.
• Work closely with the project team, both remotely and through on-site visits.
Mandatory Experience
• Documented experience in data quality work and master data management in SAP migrations.
• University or college education
• Understanding of data mapping between legacy systems and SAP.
• Ability to lead testing and quality assurance of migration data.
• Experience leading workshops and anchoring decisions in complex organizations.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Available via Teams and prepared to travel to facilities.
• Experienced working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
Meritorious Experience
• Experience in large industrial or technical environments.
• Previous work as a migration lead or data lead.
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Experience using AI tools for data migration, data quality checks, and automated data mapping.
