We are seeking Migration Case Officers for the Citizenship Units in Norrköping.

What does a Migration Case Officer do?
As a Migration Case Officer, you will process, investigate, decide, and develop proposed decisions for various types of cases. At the Citizenship Units, all types of cases within the citizenship process are reviewed. The decisions have legal implications for individuals and affect their rights to benefits, rights, and obligations. Additionally, you will handle administration by managing files and documents that have been received or created in a case. In your role, you will meet and have conversations with individuals who have a case with the Migration Agency and other stakeholders. These conversations may involve notifying about decisions, informing about the Agency's processes, providing guidance and service. You will identify and manage potential special needs of individuals and, when applicable, conduct conversations with adults and children in vulnerable situations.

We are seeking someone with good collaboration skills, who is attentive and resolves conflicts constructively. You are clear in your communication and ensure that messages are conveyed and expectations are clear for all involved parties. Furthermore, you are structured and can independently plan and organize work effectively towards set goals and deadlines. You are flexible and can easily adapt and change your perspective and approach under changing circumstances.
In our work as government officials, high demands are also placed on judgment and a strong awareness of security and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Academic education of at least 120 ECTS credits with a legal, social science, or behavioral science orientation, or other education combined with current and relevant experience for the role
- Knowledge of administrative legal matters
- Experience working with high service standards and professional interaction
- Good communication skills and ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Swedish citizenship

A security screening with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. Based on this, Swedish citizenship is required. The position requires a passed security screening.
