About this role

Daily activities are a statutory right implemented under the LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. LSS is a service-eligible law for individuals with extensive and permanent disabilities such as autism, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, or acquired brain injuries in adulthood. The Social Services Act (SoL) encompasses individuals with other disabilities who are also entitled to daily activities under this law. The mission of daily activities is to provide employment, work training, and sensory stimulation for the target group covered by the aforementioned laws, who are of working age, not engaged in any education, and not employed. What we offer you! In Hässleholm Municipality, daily activities are divided into habilitative activities and integrated activities. The position in question is within habilitative daily activities. As a method developer, you will plan and place participants in different groups according to their needs. You will ensure that implementation plans, individual action plans, and other documentation are based on LSS/SoL, maintain high quality, are updated and anchored within each respective activity, and are followed. You are responsible for planning and implementing as well as following up/evaluating the pedagogical work that is characterized by clear pedagogical approaches. You are expected to actively seek knowledge by keeping yourself and the staff groups updated so that evidence-based methods and pedagogical approaches are used in the activities. The method developer actively participates in improvement work and works solution-focused for the benefit of the users. You support and guide colleagues within daily activities in practical pedagogical work, in the users' daily lives, and in other situations where guidance is needed. You will closely collaborate with the unit manager and have significant contact with the users' networks and other internal and external partners. The positions are two permanent full-time contracts, starting on March 1, 2026, or by agreement. You who are applying have a relevant higher education, such as a degree in behavioral science, occupational therapy, or social work. You have experience working with the target group according to LSS and SoL. You have experience using clear pedagogical methods such as schedules, TAKK, visual support, TEACCH, or similar, and have experience with low-arousal approaches. Your attitude is professional, and you work pedagogically and systematically with individuals, demonstrating the ability to motivate with a focus on the participants' needs. You are empathetic and recognize the equal value of all individuals. You can collaborate with a positive attitude and contribute to a good working climate. You actively seek new information and are open to changing and developing the organization for the better. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Documentation regarding users is done digitally, which means you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. A Class B driver's license is required as transportation may be part of the job. You share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy. Other Interviews are scheduled for December 15 and December 18. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
