About this role

Dental Physiology is part of the Stockholm Public Dental Care's specialized dental services and is located at the Eastman Institute near Odenplan. We are one of the largest dental physiology clinics with a high referral rate, which provides you the opportunity to see a broad treatment spectrum in dental physiology. Our patient clientele consists of both children and adults with jaw pain and jaw function disorders. Now is your chance to complete a 50% qualification service for 2 years with us. Your Assignment As a qualifying dentist, you will work in the Dental Physiology department at Eastman. Work tasks will be primarily clinical but will also include some theoretical training. You will have excellent opportunities to develop and gain in-depth knowledge of dental physiology, through close collaboration with an experienced supervisor and through experience exchange with colleagues in other specialties. You will receive a developing and stimulating clinical placement working 50% in dental physiology. The position starts in early January 2026 at 50% and continues for two years, with other time spent at your home clinic in general dentistry. If you are already employed by Stockholm Public Dental Care, your remaining work time will be at your home clinic. If you do not have previous employment with Stockholm Public Dental Care, you will be offered a basic position in general dentistry during recruitment, where you will continue your placement after completing the dental physiology department service. The goal of the qualification service is for you to learn to investigate and treat patients with dental physiological issues, and to have the competence required to meet the demands of caring for this complex patient group. The training will provide you with increased expertise in dental physiology. What You Need to Succeed We are seeking a licensed dentist with approved certification issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You are a competent and skilled general dentist with at least three years of experience in general dentistry. You have previous experience with dental physiology from general dentistry and have demonstrated a goal-oriented interest. Providing high-quality dental care is a matter of course for you, as is a professional approach to both patients and colleagues. You are trust-building and maintain a high service level. You have excellent communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good English reading comprehension. We place great importance on personal suitability.
