Dental Competence Center (TKC) is Norrbotten County's specialized dental care organization. The majority of our operations are concentrated in shared premises in central Luleå. All dental specialties are located here, except for oral surgery, which is located at Sunderby Hospital in Luleå.
We Are Seeking: Do you want to deepen your theoretical knowledge and develop your clinical skills in Pediatric Dentistry? We are now looking for a committed dentist who wants to take the next step in their professional development.
As a merit-earning dentist, you will work 50% within specialized dental care (pediatric dentistry) and 50% within general dentistry. The position requires employment with the Public Dental Service of Norrbotten. If you are not currently working with us, we offer employment at one of our general dentistry clinics. This position is merit-earning for future specialized training in pediatric dentistry.
Qualifications
• Licensed dentist (issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare)
• At least two years of experience working in general dentistry
Meritorious Experience
• Previous service in pediatric dentistry
• Supplementary courses, diploma courses, or other relevant further education
• Scientific or pedagogical experience

Work Responsibilities
As a merit-earning dentist in Pediatric Dentistry, you will perform patient treatment under the supervision of specialized dentists and experienced general dentists employed in our pediatric dentistry department. Your tasks will include examining, diagnosing, and treating patients referred to the clinic from dental care throughout the county. We work closely with other specialties. Patient safety and quality of dental care are the focus of our work. We continuously develop our operations, and there are opportunities for you to further develop yourself and contribute with your commitment.

Job Information
We offer a full-time position with 50% employment, requiring a base position in general dentistry, time-limited for 1 year. Start date 2026-01-01 or by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
