As a respite caregiver and companion, you will have the opportunity to support and contribute to a meaningful leisure time and increased well-being. We are currently seeking individuals with a pedagogical background, experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, and confidence in your ability to provide support to others. We offer training and professional development to provide our employees and the individuals we support with the security to grow together. The work is well-suited as a part-time job, as we have assignments ranging from 4 to 30 hours per month, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends. As a respite caregiver at Bambi, you are expected to initiate educational and stimulating activities. The respite service aims to relieve family members of the care for the child with a disability and enable them to rest. As a companion at Bambi, you will support young people in participating in activities and community life. The companion service aims to prevent and break social exclusion for young individuals with disabilities and facilitate an active leisure time. You do not need prior experience in the profession, but it is a plus if you have experience with children or individuals with disabilities.
