We are growing and are seeking a mechanical design engineer who wants to work broadly – from design and project planning to installation and assembly at the customer site. Here, you'll be where technology meets reality. You will: • Work on design and project planning of mechanical solutions for our automation systems • Develop drawings, layouts, and technical documentation • Create BOM lists and prepare documentation for mechanical component production • Develop our systems • Participate in the entire process – from idea to final installation • Collaborate closely with colleagues in electrical, software, production, and service departments • Conduct project planning and installations for customers worldwide • Participate practically in assembly and commissioning on-site when needed Qualifications We are seeking a curious, skilled, and social engineer who enjoys technical challenges and collaboration. You communicate easily and like working in teams – both in the office and at customer sites. You have: • Relevant technical education (mechanical engineering or equivalent) • Several years of experience in mechanical design • Good proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD, preferably Inventor • Understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and practical problem-solving • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Ability and willingness to travel internationally • Valid driver's license Advantageous: • Experience in automation, machine, or process industry • Experience with installation or field work • Experience with Monitor ERP Good to Know: - Full-time position - Location: Kinna - International travel included At DCOS, you'll become part of an engaged and tight-knit team where collaboration, technology interest, and curiosity are highly valued.
