Jernbro is a leading player in industrial services and we are growing in Finspång! Due to increased demand, we are now looking for a mechanical designer to join our team. Your role with us
As a mechanical designer, you will play a key role in the entire design chain – from concept and design to calculations and documentation. You will work closely with both customers and colleagues to develop tailored solutions for medium and heavy industry. Your responsibilities will include, among others:
• Design and development of products and mechanical solutions according to specified requirements and directives.
• Strength calculations and safety analyses, CE marking as well as work in accordance with the Machinery Directive.
• Documentation and communication regarding technical solutions.
• Participation in customer visits and commissioning on site.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who wants to work creatively, with exciting technology and customer interaction. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a few years of experience in mechanical design in an industrial environment. You have a technical education, at least at the high school level, and practical experience. You possess good communication skills and are proficient in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
We also appreciate if you have:
• Good experience with CAD (we use Creo Elements Direct Modeling).
• Knowledge of strength calculations.
• Understanding of the Machinery Directive and CE marking.
As a person, you are curious, structured, and motivated by technical challenges. You take ownership of your designs and independently seek contacts and information to drive your work to completion.
The position involves travel and therefore requires that you have a valid driver's license (category B).
