Mechanical Design Engineer - Product Development

You will work within our Hardware & Design business area where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences from concept to large-scale production. Job Responsibilities • Design work in product development projects, either further developing existing products or creating something entirely new • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems • Communicate complex technical issues to both experts and non-experts Qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys wrestling with tricky technical challenges and analyzing them. You enjoy breaking down these challenges with the team to reach the best solution. You are a person who likes sharing your knowledge while independently driving your work forward. Beyond your personal qualities, you need to have the following: • Engineering degree in mechanical design or product development • At least 4 years of experience working as a mechanical design engineer, in design and product development • Good knowledge of CAD and PDM systems • Fluent communication in Swedish and English An Exciting Journey with Knightec Group Semcon and Knightec have merged as Knightec Group.
