As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Toyota, you will work on:
* Development projects from initial concept to fully verified product
* Leading technical development in cross-functional project teams
* Design and verification of mechanical systems
In the role of Mechanical Design Engineer at Toyota Material Handling, you will closely collaborate with other departments to develop the future of material handling solutions. You will apply your engineering expertise, curiosity, and creativity when creating new technical solutions to meet our customers' high demands.
You will be part of a group of mechanical engineers working on machine housings & driver protection, constantly optimizing designs to meet tomorrow's requirements. Within our group and teams, we have an open climate and work cross-functionally to find optimal solutions for our customers' needs. Our primary working tool is Catia V5.
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant education as assessed by the employer
* Have at least 5 years of experience in product development and mechanical design, preferably in technical leadership roles
* Have experience with relevant manufacturing methods such as bending, welding, laser cutting, pressing & assembly techniques
* Are skilled at learning from prototype manufacturing and testing and analyzing performance against specified requirements
* Have good Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written

Daily work at R&D alternates between theory and practice, with great opportunities for our engineers to test their new technical solutions practically in our comprehensive modern test lab.
