Mechanical Design Engineer in Linköping

Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a Mechanical Design Engineer? We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our client in Linköping. In this role, you will work on product development from concept to final product – and you will gain in-depth component knowledge with a strong focus on selection, design, and procurement of mechanical components, such as bearings and other machine elements. This is a role where you both design and build understanding of component functionality within the entire system. Role Responsibilities: • Design and develop mechanical components and systems from idea to series production. • Work in CATIA V6 for modeling and drawing creation. • Collaborate closely with other disciplines including electronics, testing, and production to develop integrated and optimized solutions. • Participate in technical project meetings, design reviews, and continuous improvement of the development process. Your Profile: • At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design within product development. • College or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent field. • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written. • Experience with CATIA V6 is meritorious, but experience with similar CAD tools is also valuable.
