About the Job

We are looking for a designer who wants to develop in their field, has a genuine interest in technology, and enjoys creative challenges. If you have a strong commitment, are solution-oriented, and are interested in technology and mechanics, this could be the position for you.

This is a permanent position with your work area located in the Örebro region.
Your Responsibilities
• 3D CAD modeling.
• Designing customer-specific solutions.
• Creating manufacturing documentation, assembly, and detail designs.
• Product segmentation in PDM systems.
• Conducting strength and tolerance calculations.
• Investigating technical issues.
• Updating older drawings.
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs and design the best technical solutions.
• Participating in potential prototype development.
• Visiting clients and subcontractors.
Your Profile
• Competence in drawing preparation.
• Experience working with at least one CAD tool in mechanical design, preferably more.
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or a similar field – or equivalent work experience.
• A few years of work experience in mechanical design.
• Familiarity with various problem-solving methods.
• Strong ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
We view previous experience in production and project management positively.
