About the Position
As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for developing and documenting mechanical solutions for CTC's products in accordance with the company's technical strategy, quality requirements, and development goals. The role contributes to ensuring robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs through cross-functional collaboration with the development, production, purchasing, and quality departments.
Your tasks will include developing both new and existing products in 3D CAD as well as creating drawings and technical specifications. You will create, maintain, and support technical documentation in PLM/CAD tools such as 3D Experience and SolidWorks, ensuring that designs meet standards, strength requirements, and CE directives. You will also contribute mechanical design expertise, actively participate in development projects, and promote cost reduction and improvement efforts in the mechanical area. You are expected to collaborate with production to optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly. Furthermore, you will conduct technical analyses, calculations, and validations.

About You
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a technical education in mechanics, preferably as a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent competence. You also have several years of work experience in design engineering and experience in mechanical design using PLM/CAD tools. You should have a good understanding of manufacturing methods and strength of materials; some knowledge of PED and CE directives is desirable. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have knowledge in refrigeration technology, HVAC, and electrical engineering.
As a person, you are structured and meticulous with the ability to document technical solutions clearly. You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset, enjoy collaborating, and communicate well with both colleagues and customers. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a valid driver's license (B category) is required for the role.
