Our client, a leading actor in the defense industry, is seeking a driven mechanical design engineer for an exciting assignment in Lund. ABOUT THE POSITION As a mechanical design engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing advanced mechanical systems for vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will be responsible for mechanical design and construction of components and systems for advanced vehicles in the defense industry. The work involves transforming technical requirements into functional and reliable solutions, focusing on precision and innovation. * Design and development of mechanical components * Perform design calculations and analyses * Create technical drawings and documentation * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration * Contribute to solving complex technical challenges in vehicle design * Ensure designs meet applicable safety and quality standards WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE: - Relevant education in mechanical engineering or similar field - Good knowledge of vehicle design - Experience working in the defense industry - Advanced ability to work independently and take initiative - Strong collaborative skills - Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing To succeed in the role, you have the following personal characteristics: - Goal-oriented - Organized - Responsible The position requires that you undergo and pass current security protection regulations.
